Soul Fire Farm "is a BIPOC*-centered community farm committed to ending racism and injustice in the food system."
Founder Leah Penniman is also the author of Farming While Black: Soul Fire Farm's Practical Guide to Liberation on the Land. She recently visited UC Santa Cruz for a talk about food justice.
Soul Fire Farm has curated resources that include how-to's, gardening projects, and online learning– all led by Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities.
As all of our roots shift with the new ground that has come out of COVID-19, hopefully this can be a resource for folx who are curious about gardening and creating food sovereignty for themselves and their communities.
